I've found my furever family!

I am Mija, I was picked up in Kern County, along with my mom and some my siblings.  Since coming to Have a Heart, I have had quite the emotional ride!  I first developed kennel cough, which morphed into pneumonia.  When the folks at Have a Heart took me to the vet, they were told I was pregnant!  I was a very skinny malnourished puppy, and unfortunately I was too weak and feeble to nurse my puppies and they all passed away.   But the folks at Have a Heart have continued to nurse me back to health, and now I am ready for adoption.  I am  very scared, and am learning to trust.  I seem to be afraid of men. Think of me as a dog with a cat's disposition, meaning I want to be petted and held on my terms!   But I am crate trained, and house trained.
